1959 | From the earliest beginnings, the KSI company was founded on July 1, 1959 by Klaus Stahl as a pickling and polishing workshop on the parental property. |
1968 | With the relocation to its present location and a rapid expansion could now begin mass production of sheet metal by casting technique. |
1971 | A milestone in the company's history was the commissioning of the widest coil coating line in the world. This painting technique is still one of the mainstays of the company - now several times improved and modified. In the same year, a wet painting plant for aluminum and steel parts was put into operation - to this day we are one of the leading wet paint finishers of facades in the Federal Republic and beyond. |
1976 | A new era begins: As one of the first companies in Germany, industrial powder coating of aluminum for components was started. |
1989 | The construction of a cathodic dip coating (KTL) plant with upstream zinc phosphating and subsequent powder coating significantly expanded the range offered. Renowned automobile manufacturers and suppliers are among our customers. |
1993 | The construction of a high-bay warehouse with 2,500 parking spaces to facilitate the picking and expansion of storage facilities. |
1994 | The existing powder coating plant will be replaced by a new large-scale plant that meets all the requirements of the market. On November 21, 1994, the company founder Klaus Stahl is awarded the French Order Chevalier de l 'Ordre National du Merite due to the 25-year cooperation with the company Pechiney. |
2005 | Expansion of the service portfolio with another method, pad printing. In the meantime, two systems are available here to provide painted serial parts with a logo print. |
